THE FOUNDER

Maarten Van der Laan was skiman for over 10 years in Risoul, a ski resort in french Hautes-Alpes. Thanks to the feedback of customers and the local riders' desires, he started in 2010 to bring his ideas to life by tinkering with his first prototypes in his garage. The immediate enthusiasm for the concept of customization made him take the leap... APHEX was born !

Our ski goggles are designed and all tested in real conditions, in the most extreme weather, by athletes who share our values ​​of performance, freedom, creativity and ethics.
